* I am a member of the `Python Software Foundation
  <http://www.python.org/psf>`__, nominated in 2003.  Since February
  2006 I have been a Director and Secretary of the PSF, and Assistant
  Secretary before that.  I contribute to the `PSF News blog
  <http://pyfound.blogspot.com/>`__.

* Ever since I attended my first `PyCon <../pycon/>`_ in 2004 I have
  helped out, more each year.  I am the Chair of PyCon 2008 in
  Chicago.
